UC Platforms

Our Mobile UC solution puts businesses in direct control of mobile voice, messaging and data – like never before – regardless of which UC platform you use.

Tango Extend enables a range of market leading Unified Communications platforms both in the public and private cloud. UC features such as Call Hold, short code dialing and voicemail can be extended out to mobile devices, whether they are company provided or BYOD personal phones.

How it Works

Mobile services provided by traditional Mobile Operators require a dedicated mobile number which lives outside of the environment you have put in place for your employees’ voice communications. Tango Extend does not force a mobile number to be added, but instead uses an employee’s existing business number for applications such as Unified Communications, Contact Centers, Voice Recording, and AI bots. This extends your IT infrastructure’s productivity enhancements and governance capabilities to mobile communications.

An Extend smartphone integrates to UC and Contact Center platforms in the same manner as a desk set. This ensures functionality provided by the platform (e.g. call screening, call queues, etc.) and any supplementary applications such as call recording automatically work with Extend smartphones.

SMS Recording is managed separately from the UC platform, unless the platform has message ingestion and storage capabilities.

Covered by over 100 patents, our next generation fixed mobile convergence technologies are unlocking new business models, creating new markets, and changing the face of communications as we know it.

Tango Extend is sold both by UC Platform Vendors and by CSPs and MSPs who typically host these platforms in the cloud, privately or publicly for enterprise customers.
