Apple
Apple has introduced support for Tango Extend beginning with iOS 15.4.
- iOS 15.4 or later. Recommended: iOS 17.1 or later
- iPhone XR or later. iPhone 12 or later is recommended when Tango Extend is used as a second SIM
- Supported on US and Global iPhone models only
- eSIMs supported
KNOWN ISSUES
- VoLTE must be manually enabled in some countries
- Your business number must be manually entered when using an eSIM
Google has introduced support for Tango Extend on Pixel devices starting with Android 13 March 2023 update.
- Android 13 with March 2023 update or later
- Pixel 7 and later
- eSIMs supported
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Pixel 7a is not recommended for international roamers
Samsung
Samsung has introduced support for Tango Extend across all of its Android 14 devices as well as a number of devices running Android 13 and OneUI 5.1.
SUPPORTED DEVICES:
- Android 14 or later
- Android 13 and OneUI 5.1, Refer to specific device lists:
- Supported on US and European models only
- Please visit Samsung’s website for eSIM support information per device
KNOWN ISSUES:
- None
Warning:
Devices that were originally locked may not work with Tango Extend due to provider specific firmware

Samsung Android 13 US Supported Devices
- Model variants: Carrier-locked “U” models (that have subsequently been unlocked) and Samsung unlocked “U1” models*
- OS: Android 13/OneUI 5.1 or above
- An Extend SIM can only be installed in the 2nd SIM slot of a carrier-locked “U” model after it has been unlocked
* For unlocked “U1” models, the software provider software version must have a CSC code of XAA, e.g. “XAA/XAA”

Locked Phones
Only unlocked phones can be used with Extend. You can purchase phones unlocked or, if you already own a locked phone, contact the service provider the phone is locked to in order to have it unlocked.
