A security firm's product is response: an officer at a gatehouse, a patrol across a retail park, a control room that has to reach the right person in seconds. The communications carrying that response are usually a mix of radios that stop at the site boundary and personal mobiles nobody controls.
When an incident is reviewed afterwards, the radio logged nothing and the phone belonged to the officer. This use case sets out what changes when the firm's line sits on the phone the officer already carries.

The Challenge
Radio works on the site it was installed for and nowhere else. A mobile patrol between sites, an officer on a client's premises, a supervisor covering three contracts — all of them fall back to phones, and usually to their own.
That leaves the control room dialling personal numbers from a list that goes stale with every rota change, and it leaves the firm with no record of the calls that matter most: what the officer reported, when, and to whom. In a sector sold on accountability, the account of an incident should not depend on whose phone it happened on.
The Solution
Each officer carries a business line on their own handset — or on a rugged one where the post demands it — delivered by eSIM. The line is an extension of the firm's phone system, so the control room rings a post or a patrol, not a personal number from a stale list, and the call lands on whoever holds that duty tonight.
Mobile coverage does what the repeater never could: the same line works at the gatehouse, across the car park, between sites and at a one-night event, with no infrastructure to install.
Every call — officer to control, control to client, supervisor to officer — runs through the platform. When an incident is reviewed, the sequence of who called whom and when is a record, not a reconstruction.
What Changes
The first change is reach. The control room can raise any officer on any assignment through one system, and escalation goes to a duty, not to a person who may be asleep.
The second is the record. Incident communications become retrievable — the firm can show a client exactly how a report moved, which is the accountability it sells.
The third is the boundary. Officers stop giving clients and colleagues their own numbers, and a leaver takes no live contact routes with them.
