    REAL ESTATE USE CASE

    Agents, Showings and the Brokerage

A real estate agent works out of a car: showings, open houses, listing appointments, closings. The desk phone back at the brokerage rings into an empty room, and the deals happen on whatever number the agent has been using since before they joined.

The brand pays for the office; the cell phone does the business. This use case sets out what changes when the brokerage's line rides on the phone the agent already carries.

    Solution Highlights

    • Every call carries the brokerage's identity
    • Mid-showing calls covered by routing
    • Client and deal calls on the record
    • One phone — personal stays personal

    The Challenge

Buyers and sellers judge fast, and an unanswered call is a lead that dials the next sign on the street. But an agent mid-showing cannot answer, a personal number gets screened, and a lead that does leave a voicemail leaves it on a phone the brokerage will never see.

The deeper problem is whose number the client keeps. When the relationship lives on the agent's personal cell, the brokerage's brand is a jacket the agent wears — and every listing, referral and past client walks whenever the agent does.

    The Solution

Each agent carries a business line on their own phone, delivered by eSIM and used through the phone's native dialer — no app to open between a showing and the car. Calls and texts to clients present the brokerage's number, the one on the sign and the website.

The line is an extension of the brokerage's phone system, so nobody's availability is a dead end. An agent in a showing routes calls to the office coordinator or a partner agent; a buyer calling about a listing reaches a person while their interest is hot.

Deal conversations run on the platform's record — offer relayed, counter delivered, closing date moved — retrievable when a transaction gets contentious, and visible to the broker responsible for it.

    What Changes

The first change is speed to the lead. Calls are answered by someone — the agent, a partner, the office — while the caller is still parked outside the listing.

The second is whose brand does the work. Clients see and save the brokerage's number, so the identity on the sign is the identity on the phone.

The third is the record. The offers, counters and commitments that fly by phone in every transaction become retrievable — protection for the agent, the broker and the client alike.

    Agents, Showings and the Brokerage

    Key Changes

    • Leads answered while interest is hot
    • The brokerage's number is the saved one
    • Deal calls retrievable in a dispute
    • Agents carry one phone, not two

    Assessment

Nine questions about your own brokerage. The ones you can't answer are the ones worth looking into.

    How it works today

    • What number does a buyer see when an agent returns their call?
    • What happens to a listing call while the agent is in a showing?
    • Whose number do past clients actually have saved?

    What it is costing

    • How many leads a month ring out to voicemail on personal cells?
    • How much deal traffic is invisible to the broker of record?
    • What followed the last agent who left for a competitor?

    What would change

    • What would you check if a disputed transaction turned on a call?
    • Which office or team would you pilot first?
    • Where should a hot lead land when every agent is busy?

Real estate is a referral business run over personal cell phones, which means the asset walks around in other people's pockets. Putting the brokerage's line on the phones agents already carry keeps the speed agents need and puts the brand — and the record — back on every call.

The test is simple: whose number does the client save?
