Ivan joined in October of 2018 and initially focused on the operational integration of Tango Networks and Simetric Telecom UK, a newly acquired asset. He was responsible for the buildout of infrastructure, organization, and operational processes supporting the implementation, management, and successful launch of the Tango Extend, Global Private Mobile Network. With expanded responsibilities into Customer Experience Management, Ivan is driving Product Management evolution focused on adeptly responding to customers’ rapidly changing operational input and business demands.
Prior to joining Tango Networks, Ivan was vice president of Customer Operations at Prodea Systems, where he pioneered in the deployment and operation of distributed architecture IoT platforms delivering varied global services including Video On Demand, Home Monitoring, Home Automation, eHealth, and Government Communications. Additionally, IoT M&A transactions required Ivan’s involvement in operationally vetting acquisitions, and ultimately amalgamating teams, infrastructure, and services.
Ivan also spent 13 years at Nortel Networks, most recently as Senior Manager of GSM/UMTS Core Network Integration where his teams provided technology and expertise to global MNOs facilitating their transition to GSM/UMTS services and more cost-effective architectures. At Nortel, he was also involved in integration and validation of varying technologies including Global Switching, Long-haul Optical Transport, and personal communication systems.
Ivan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University.
